About DAK Leather

Every stitch.
Every piece.
One person.

The Origin

It started with 17 groomsmen and a stubborn idea.

"I wanted to give something that mattered and something made by hand, that would last longer than the wedding itself."

What started as a project for a friend's wedding became a craft, then a calling. Darsh taught himself leatherwork from scratch, cutting, stitching, finishing, until every wallet was exactly right.

Six years later, DAK Leather has grown into a passion for bespoke goods, custom shoes, and hands-on workshops. All made by one person, by hand, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Philosophy

Made slowly. Built to outlast everything else.

In a world of mass production, DAK Leather stands for something different. Every piece is made with intention and designed to age beautifully while serving its owner for decades.

Materials

Full-grain leather. Nothing less.

Every DAK piece starts with carefully selected full-grain hides which are the strongest, most beautiful grade of leather available. Over time, these hides develop a rich patina unique to your use. They don't degrade, they age.

Let's make something together.

From custom wallets to bespoke shoes — every project starts with a conversation.
